On October 30th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the general welcome event for new doctoral students at FSU will take place. We will of course be there with an information booth and a presentation to welcome all new doctoral students and provide them with information about us.

Last week, the DR.FSU constituted itself in its first meeting at the beginning of the new legislative period. For 2025/2026, 12 representatives for doctoral students in Jena were elected.
In addition to getting to know new members as well as members already active in previous periods, the projects in the upcoming period were discussed. By the way, if you are interested: also non-elected PhD students can contribute in some projects! We are always looking for any support by committed doctoral candidates! Of course, we will keep you informed about our work during this period.
